Juneteenth Now a Company Holiday

Areté Living and all our managed communities will honor Juneteenth as a company holiday. Areté Living President Sarah Silva announced this news on the virtual company call, Chat with Sarah, on March 14, 2024.

Juneteenth marks the date on June 19, 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to finally inform people who were enslaved of their freedom. This is an important day in United States history, and we are pleased to now include this as one of our official company holidays.
