Inclusion Advocates Chart a Bold Course for DEIB 2025

DEIB 2025 is already off to an incredible start! Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council and Inclusion Advocates gathered on November 20th to strategize for next year. It was a powerful day as we gathered great minds and passionate individuals to plan 2025 DEIB initiatives.
We’re thrilled to share more about our four DEIB pillars, Inclusion Advocates, and what’s to come in 2025.
Inclusion Advocates
Our Inclusion Advocates are volunteers from our organization. They volunteered to join one of four pillars of our DEIB program: People, Education, Talent, and Community.
Each pillar has its own objective, vision, and projects. Here are our pillar objectives:
People: Identify key employee needs, celebrations, and experiences
Education: Source and organize educational opportunities
Talent: Explore and promote methods of sourcing diverse talent while encouraging employee development
Community: Coordinate projects and events to give back to, and partner with, the public
Our DEIB Council assigned a lead and one or more members to each pillar, based on the interests and passions of our volunteers.
Special thanks
Our full-day DEIB strategy event was organized and led by Kenny Dew, Chair of our DEIB Council and Area Finance Manager, and Zanele Mutepfa-Rhone, Diversity and Culture Strategist.
Thank you to Kenny for your strong leadership and building this program to what it is today. Thank you to Zanele Mutepfa-Rhone for your incredible talent, leadership, and valuable insights for elevating our DEIB program. And thank you to Shaelynn Miller, Communications and Content Manager, for your dedication to DEIB since the program’s beginnings and for sharing with our Inclusion Advocates how the Marketing Department can support their goals.
We extend a special thank you to our Inclusion Advocates. Your important work will make a difference for our teams as we continue to cultivate an environment where everyone can feel included and that they belong.
